A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation 2018 Project!
The Mission
In 2018, we're pleased to announce that A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation will partner with Conscious Alliance of Boulder, CO to launch a capital fundraising initiative for a planned facility expansion that would consolidate the organization's current overflowing and spread out facilities under one roof.
This partnership culminated in an intimate concert at Denver's Ophelia's Electric Soapbox on December 6th, 2018 with all proceeds from the show -over $20,000- going to the Conscious Alliance fund. This 350 person event combined with a donation of $50,000 from a year of fundraising went to Conscious Alliance from ABGDFoundation.

The Need

With the current network of distribution centers, storage warehouses, offices and volunteer spaces around the Boulder / Denver Metro area time, money and energy is spent coordinating donations and finding places for storage

In 2018 alone, Conscious Alliance has added two staff members, raised $938,000 and distributed 285,899 more meals than in 2017 altogether

With new brand partnerships, the organization has begun accepting more and more larger donations from all over the country

Current spaces require constant re-arranging to make space for incoming donations. In order to never have to say no to brands offering food, a larger warehousing space is needed

Right now, volunteer events are held at other food distribution centers around Colorado and large scale events are held at outside event spaces.

Big Gigantic's 2018 Donation will launch a capital fundraising initiative to support Conscious Alliance's three-year vision for a customized mixed use building on Colorado's front range

The building will expand the organization's impact and reach and increase efficiency by brining volunteer programs, food distribution center, storage facilities, staff offices, programming rooms and more into one space

Ability to hold events and meetings where work is done

Conscious Alliance

CA supports communities in crisis through a three-tier approach: emergency food relief to communities across the United States; empowerment programs for youth in impoverished regions of the country; and nutrition, exercise and gardening education for youth in economically isolated Native American reservations.

Conscious Alliance operates ongoing food collection and hunger awareness programs by organizing food drives at concerts and music events.

Conscious Alliance works with myriad companies and organizations to further its mission of providing life changing and life enhancing programs to the communities they serve.

Over the past 16 years, the nonprofit has provided over 3.25 million meals to children and families in need.
A Big Gigantic Difference

After years of hosting #ABigGiganticDifference community service initiatives around the country, Big Gigantic started A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation in 2016, raising money for a local charity in every market they played

While smaller donations are important, large donations are most valuable and make the greatest impact for a non-pro t’s cause

In 2018, the money raised by ABGDFoundation will go toward a single project different from the previous year. The partnership with Conscious Alliance is the beginning of a capital fundraising campaign and the start of a three-year vision.
The Space

Currently, Conscious Alliance operates its programs through a network of different distribution centers, storage warehouses, offices and volunteer spaces around the Boulder / Denver Metro area
Spaces all over Colorado's front range:

6 locations are used for storage, warehousing, offices, and programming. Including a warehouse in Denver, Offices in Boulder, Spare space at a screen printer, and two storage units
